Logiscape Technology Inc., the same company that own Backbonebanners.com, TS25.com, Hitpulse.com and Trafficpods.com, launched a brand new traffic exchange couple of weeks ago called Trafficera.com. It is supposed to be the new era of traffic exchange programs, with state of the art technology, sophisticated features that separates their exchange from other traffic exchange in the industry.
Oh please, give me a break people it is still a traffic exchange program with a few bells and whistles that's all. All the basic infrastructure of a traffic exchange script are there, the timer, the matching number or symbol, assigning credits, adding your websites and of course surfing.
You can check it out here: Trafficera.com
What makes Trafficera.com slighty different than your typical traffic exchange program is that they use the concept of time instead of hits. In a typical traffic exchange, if you visit 1 site, you get 1 hit or 1 credit to your website, but in Trafficera, you visit one website in 15 seconds, they will credit you with 15 seconds or time credits.
So basically it's like a 1:1 ratio right? you got it smarty pants !
If you are a free member (silver level) at Trafficera.com for every site you visit, for 15 seconds, you will get 3 seconds of time credit but if you are a platinum level (about $50 per month), you will get 15 seconds of time credit.
Just like in other exchanges, if you are a free member, you will get a lower ratio, but if you are a paid member, you will get better surfing ratio and other bonuses or perks.
Trafficera.com have put so much emphasis on team building as if you really have to join or else you are left in the dark, surfing by yourself. Joining a winning team will give you so much more leverage in earning more credits. Plus all your effort in promoting, recruiting, and surfing goes towards your team overall points.
Because they are giving away so much credits for team competitions, there are so many members jumping from one team to another just to get to the top spot and team leaders need to find as many active surfers as they can to get to the top spot and win the hudreds of thousands of time credits that are up for grabs.
If there's one feature that really separate Trafficera.com for all other competitors is the 'groups' feature. Just like Myspace.com have myriads of groups, Trafficera.com also have their own groups where members can discuss just about anything, The only problem is that some people have to abuse this feature by spamming, where they post their opportunities inappropriately and with impunity. They don't care whether their post gets deleted or their account deleted, that's what they love to do, spam. So it's up to the admin to monitor the offenders and deal with them which they have. Kudos to them !
I'm curious to know more about the other feature where you are allowed to promote other members splashpage and get credited for it, you can't do that with other exchange. Trafficera also claimed that you don't have to be a member to view the splashpage network which I find very interesting. Right now the splashpage network won't be available till February 12, 2008.
Trafficera.com will continue to evolve into a better traffic exchange program as hundreds of thousands of fresh prospect joins every single day just to check it out, but will they stay and take advantage everything what it has to offer? who knows, only time will tell. If you are a savvy online marketer, you would want to get your blogs or websites out there for them to see, after all they will have over 100,00 members in less time than it took their other traffic exchange to accomplished.
I still don't understand how can Logiscape launch Trafficera.com not fully functional. Where they trying to get feedback as to how the public would react, where they behind in schedule and they had to launch it regardless? or was a systimatically, well calculated clever strategy.
Till next time.
